Cheap fuzzy feeling material

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They are not made from the same kind of material they used to be made of. They appear cheap and fuzzy like dime store microfiber rags. I went from store to store trying one style after another and while some seemed slightly better than others none came anywhere near what Dockers used to be. I used to love Dockers and wore them exclusively for forty years. I guess that is over now. Sadly, I can't find another brand like what Dockers used to be. Hopefully some other company will pick-up the material and make some decent pants with it. Goodby Dockers Levis has ruined you.

Agree! Cheap material. Within six months, the pant leg hems are literally shredding.

Hipster Wallet not same as older version

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
When I purchase something that has the same name as the previous item I purchased, I expect it to be the same. Unfortunately that is not the case with the Dockers Hipster wallet. It used ot have a separation fabric in the billfold area, which was very convenient for separating bills from other items. This latest version of the Dockers Hipster wallet no longer has the fabric separator. Dockers again cheaps out on a once good product. Lessening quality and a knack for cheapening a product leaves me with no alternative but to stop buying Dockers products.

Faulty Docker belt

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a 38" Dockers black belt 11DK01JX 38/95 Made in China CL1 and labeled Genuine Leather. When I hooked my cell phone holster over it the shiny surface material was indented badly.

I could live with that. But then some type of plasticized, shiny, thin covering peeled off the face of the belt, leaving the unfinished underlying leather exposed. What an ugly mess. Obviously the surface of the belt was not "Genuine Leather." What falseness in advertising is that?

And what type of faulty manufacture would leave me with a belt so ugly it is unusable? I am left distrusting the Docker brand.

Never, ever trust any product made in China. Your leather problem happens not only with belts, but with shoes, etc.

made in The Peoples Republic of China.

Many name brand companies like Docker get their goods from foreign countries and you need to realize much of it is poor quality junk. Tell Dockers you are not satisfied and want a refund.

Only received 50% back on a return

I bought several shirts and pairs of pants and received a 50% discount on each item at the end of my transaction. The discount price showed up on my invoice. When I returned a pair of torn pants that I paid $14.99 for, I only received 50% of that back. When I sent an email notifying them of the mistake with a copy of my invoice, I was told that it was a misunderstanding. I was told that I had received a 50% discount. Huh?? I paid $14.99, and I only received $8.99 back. Dockers must make a lot of money by pulling this stunt.

Fabric is cheap and gets torn all the time

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I've had no less than 3 pairs of Dockers that I've had to throw away because the fabric tears. In all 3 cases the pants were only a few months old and hardly worn. 2 of the 3 happened while in the wash, not even while I was wearing them (thankfully).

This has happened all in the last 1-2 years and it seems to be because the fabric itself is too thin and weak. The seams seem to be fine, all of the damage has occurred within the fabric, generally around the knee region of the pants.

I do not recommend that anyone continues to buy these pants until they do something about the quality. The opportunity to have an embarrassing incident is not worth it. I would gladly pay twice the price for pants that I know will not tear.

customer service is outsourced for dockers which is owned by levi, I am not 100 percent sure but I believe manufacturing is as well, the product is mostly made overseas, and the quality is very very very low.. however in case anyone is not aware the product does have a manufacture 2 yr warranty for factory defects..

no proof of purchase needed.. the consumer however is liable for shipping to facility for analyzing..

Returned damaged pants. Cannot get a Refund

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I returned pants that were dirty/damaged. I first asked for a replacement. Dockers.com's system is so antiquated they can't do that. You first have to return the item and then place a new order or place another order with an additional hit to your credit card, then return the items. I sent the pants back and they were received over 20 DAYS AGO. They still haven't processed my return. I kept getting excuse after excuse. When I placed my order they took my money instantly. However, it seems they expect me to wait at LEAST 30 days to get my return processed and a refund issued - Maybe.

Dockers Pants Review

After many years of buying Dockers pants, I could not believe how bad the Quality. Bought five pairs & they all ripped. It is a shame the company allows this to happen. I bought them from past experience. I'll never be taken again.

Second pair of Docker shoes .love the feel and look of these shoes and even after the first incident of split sole after a few wears,I tried again. The second pair split along the side instead of across the sole like the first pair. The soles are apparently not intended to flex! You must have to walk flat footed !The soles are garbage. I am through with Dockers !

Material for pants not up to PAR

This is my third pair of Dockers that have ripped out. 2 pairs of pants, the rear left pocket tore down and to my knees, the other pair the rear pocket tore down half way down to my knees.

Ever since Dockers sold their firm to Levi, the material has been cheapened and rips without apparent reason. I have worn Dockers for years, way back when I was in college, but I keep hoping the quality will improve, yet it doesn't seem to happen.

So that is what happened.

The material used to make Dockers sucks.

It is nothing like what they used to be made of.

It makes my skin crawl, I can't wear them anymore. After a lifetime of wearing Dockers, I'll never buy another pair.

Boxers Briefs

I have only worn and then wash once and two pair have holes in them. Paid good money thinking Dockers would be better than Hanes or Fruit of the Loom but not such luck total junk. I would advice buy any brand but these. I have read they have changed to being made in china. Bad move on their part they are loosing their good name. Not sure why I need to write 80 words to explain my problem I am guessing you get the drift

Replacement wheels for Dockers Luggage

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I'm looking for a replacement for a broken wheel. Sounds like it doesn't exist.

It did not survive the airport luggage wars. I hope I'm wrong. Please tell me if they are available.

I see that there are screws inside to attach the wheels so it looks as if it can be repaired. I have only used it a few times as a tool bag when I am working away from home.

I saw another review saying that the parts are unavailable. I hope that is not the case. I live outside Philadelphia. My email is jimvictor@***.net.

Please let me know as soon as possible. There is a lot of travel in the future.

Pay Retail Plus Alterations & 3 Pair of Dockers Self-Destruct First Wear

Pay Retail Plus Alterations & 3 Pair of Dockers Self-Destruct First Wear
After paying $49. per pair or retail at Penneys, I spent an additional $75.00 having all three pair shortened as my inseam is +-27 1/2. The stitching on the right side of the first pair came completely unraveled after the first day I wore them....never been washed!... The second pair was sporting a fabric rip from the waist band almost down to the knee in the rear after I had had them on for less than one hour. Never been washed!....Very embarrassing at a business meeting!... The third pair made it to the washing machine for a first wash, and likewise split down the rear left leg on the second wearing.

Men's pants of poor quality

How nice to find pants that fit just right . .

. but, what a disappointment when the poor quality of fabric is exposed. After two washings the pants had white spots around the pockets and on the legs. A careful examination revealed that the top layer (probably the cotton) was gone and white threads remained, resulting in white spots on both the tan khaki and gray pants.

Two pairs of men's pants are going into the rag bag. Apparently the base of the material is polyester and cotton is somehow adhered to the polyester. The cotton washes off!!

These pants were made in Nicaragua; however, the source of the fabric is not revealed. It's junk!!!
